Jake started Handled because he genuinely enjoys helping people and wanted to build something that makes a real difference in people's day-to-day lives.

The idea for Handled came from his own experience. After growing up in Branford, and attending college at Villanova, he spent two years living in the NYC Metropolitan area where his apartment building had a property manager who handled everything. Any request, any issue, any maintenance need was taken care of with one simple text. He never had to make a call, track down a contractor, or follow up on anything. He would submit a request, go to work, and come home to find the task complete. Coming from a place where homeowners often have to juggle all of that themselves, he saw just how valuable that kind of support really is.

What Jake cares most about is the relationship. When you're a Handled client, Jake is not just a guy you call when something breaks. He knows your home, knows your preferences, and is genuinely invested in making sure everything is taken care of the right way. That trust means everything to Jake, and he doesn't take it lightly.

Growing up in Branford, spending most of his life on the CT shoreline, Jake is well acclimated with the community. He deeply cares about the homeowners who call it home and wants to make it an even better place to live than it already is.
